These are a treat no matter what your age, but if you’re looking for a more sophisticated form of the same delicious taste and dense fudgy texture, I have also started making cake pop TRUFFLES!
I make traditional cake pops – bake a cake, crumble it up, mix with buttercream and you get a yummy doughy centre to coat in a layer of chocolate and drizzle (and usually some sprinkles).
The first time I took cake pops somewhere it was for the BBQ at the school the June before AllerGlee was even a serious thought, and after the summer in September I had kids asking me if I was “the cake pop mom from last year”, which I thought was pretty hilarious!
